Fernando Ruiz Martínez
Psychologist and neuropsychologist. Col. M-39091. Online or at home in Granada.
I'm Fernando Ruiz Martínez, psychologist and neuropsychologist. I hold a Master's in Cognitive Neuroscience from Radboud University, in Nijmegen (the Netherlands), and I'm also a cognitive neuroscientist. I've worked in assessment, intervention and support for patients and families at Hospital de Sant Pau, Ace Alzheimer Center Barcelona, NeuroPed and Fundación Alzheimer España. I was a high-performance athlete.
Starting therapy or assessing a family member's memory requires understanding clearly what's happening. My job is to explain it plainly and help you decide the next step, online or at home.

Background
- Radboud University and Donders Institute. Master's in Cognitive Neuroscience in Nijmegen (the Netherlands), researching how the brain sustains attention and other cognitive functions.
- Hospital de Sant Pau, Barcelona. Assessment and follow-up of patients with movement disorders, using cognitive tests to understand what was happening in each case.
- Ace Alzheimer Center Barcelona. Neuropsychological assessment, explaining results clearly to patients and families, and cognitive stimulation.
- Fundación Alzheimer España. Cognitive stimulation workshops and sessions to help families understand the condition and cope with it better.
- NeuroPed. School support for children with acquired brain injury, adapting content to what each child could follow, along with social skills workshops.
- Before RMind. I've worked in hospitals and clinics here and abroad. I decided to work independently to offer closer, more direct care.
